I was hanging out on Craftster this morning & did a quick search on the word “luggage” and a great post came up where this lady made a whole set of stuff for her son. There’s a suitcase, a drawstring bag to hold his mess kit, and a bag for his toiletries. They all match, and are done in an awesome skull print fabric, with gray piping (she made that herself) & gray nylon mesh handles. All of the zipper pulls are done with black & gray cording & skull beads. It looks great & makes me wish I was confident enough to try something like that. Maybe I’ll give one a try one of these days, with some scrap fabric, that way, if it doesn’t turn out, then I haven’t wasted a bunch of expensive fabric, right?
